Trivandrum Municipal Corporation provides water tanker service for supplying drinking and non-drinking water from approved sources across the city, using empanelled water tankers. Anyone can book water using the Smart Trivandrum mobile app, website, or over phone.
Vehicle registration process

Level 1 approval
Corporation reviews the documents and grants first-level approval.
Pay licence fee & verification
Pay the licence fee online, then the vehicle undergoes physical verification.
Licence issued
On successful verification, the operating licence is issued and the tanker goes live.
- All tankers operating inside Trivandrum Corporation limits must be registered.
- Tankers transporting both drinking and non-drinking water must register for both.
- Drinking water tankers are coloured blue; non-drinking water tankers are coloured brown.
- Every vehicle must carry AIS 140 GPS and stream real-time location to the corporation server.
- Scanned copies of all vehicle documents must be attached with the application.
