Water Tanker Service

Trivandrum Municipal Corporation is providing water tanker service for supplying dringking and non-drinking water from sources in Trivandrum using empanelled water tankers. Anyone can book water using Smart Trivandrum Mobile app, website or over phone.

  • All tankers operating inside Trivandrum Corporation should be registered
  • Tankers transporting both drinking and non-drinking water have to do registration
  • Drinking water tanker should be colored blue and non-drinking water should be colored brown
  • All the vehicles need to be fitted with AIS 140 GPS and should send real time location data to corporation server
  • Scanned copy of all the documents of the vehicle should be attached along with the application form
  • In the registration process, first level is document upload and no payment is to be made until approval is given from first level
  • Second level process is the online payment of licence fees, physical verification of vehicle and licence issue

Thiruvananthapuram municipal corporation expands the septage collection system by integrating the private operations in this sector. TMC council passed a bylaw to monitor the private septage collection operators. Private operators can register with TMC through online to get licensed.
